The Bong Event
Our objective for Vancouver's Bong Event was absolute: don't just film the stage, capture the pulse of the room.
Live rap is chaotic, unpredictable, and driven entirely by emotion. This archive breaks down how Extenso Studio navigated the massive production scale and unfiltered hype to craft the official cinematic aftermovie.
The Atmosphere
A concert is nothing without its audience. We embedded our cameras directly into the crowd, utilizing wide-angle lenses to capture the sheer scale of the venue and the undeniable energy of thousands of hands in the air. The goal was to make the viewer feel the bass and the heat of the room.

Mastering the Light
Concert production relies on aggressive, fast-moving lasers and deep, saturated colors. Instead of fighting the lighting, the Extenso ecosystem is built to embrace it, balancing complex exposure on the fly to ensure the artist cuts through the chaos with perfect cinematic clarity.

Raw Emotion
By stripping away the vibrant stage lights in post-production and utilizing our signature high-contrast black-and-white grading, we isolate the pure passion of the performance. These portraits capture the intimate connection between the artist and the microphone, frozen in time.
